Photo Planning for the Garden

A whole lot of lawn, and itty bitty planting beds on the perimeter. Ugh.

The covered porch that I plan to use for plants.
And I am now a regular stop for the city yard debris truck.
I like to start with photos from every angle. I then print the photos on paper so that I can sketch over the existing landscape and make notes. Not only is this an excellent way to visualize the plan, but when I get discouraged I can look back and see how far the plan has come along :)
