Black Turtle Beans

I planted black turtle beans for something new this year. I had never grown beans to dry before, and honestly I really didn't have the space to grow the amount of beans we go through in a year, but it was fun! And even more exciting was going through the growing, drying and shelling process with my kids so that they could see where dried beans come from. My youngest daughter was especially enthralled with the shelling process.
